Life story
June 21, 1980

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 21, 1980.  He grew up in Las Vegas with his parents, John and Chris.  He had many family members also living in Nevada, with family in Colorado and Utah as well.  Justin attended Bishop Gorman High School, graduated, and went to the University of Nevada in Reno.  He also attended Brooks College in Long Beach.

Justin was interested in many things.  He wanted to be a graphic designer, but loved his job as a dice dealer.  He loved technology, especially video games.  He loved playing his PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Xbox.  Justin loved watching the G4 video game channel as much as he loved actually playing video games.

His other hobbies were collecting Spawn toys and putting together Gundam models.  He liked bamboo plants and collected several that he tended to religiously.

Justin had a leopard gecko he named Zero, and he thought it was the coolest gift from his parents he had ever recieved.

Justin also enjoyed anime, especially Akira and Ghost in the Shell, as well as Samurai Champloo.  Justin loved the Simpsons and watched it constantly, even buying the DVD sets of entire seasons.  His other favorite shows were Cinematech, South Park, Robot Chicken, X-Play, Aqua Teen Hungerforce, The Man Show, and Fastlane.

Justin also loved music.  His favorite types were techno, hardcore, and drum n bass.  His favorite DJ's were Dieselboy, Donald Glaude, Christopher Lawrence, DJ Dan, and Omar Santana.  Justin also listened to Marilyn Manson, Kottonmouth Kings, Atari Teenage Riot, and the Beastie Boys.  We never went anywhere in the car without one of these bands playing.

Justin was a wonderful father and was never happier when he was playing with his daughter.  He loved it when Kylie sat next to him with her very own video game controller and they pretended Kylie was 'helping him win'.  He also read to Kylie every day, colored pictures with her, built towers of blocks for her to knock down, and took her to the park.  He always thought it was hilarious when she peed on the carpet when I was trying to pottytrain her.  There was nothing he loved more than his daughter and hated having to discipline her.

May 3, 2006
His life was brutally taken from us on May 3, 2006 at the age of 25.  There is nothing in this world that will ever fill the emptiness left in all our hearts and lives that Justin filled when he was alive.  He left behind parents stricken with grief, a wife whose soul was ripped apart, a daughter who adored him and is too young yet to understand her loss, another daughter not yet born that will know him only from other's memories, aunts and uncles, grandparents, cousins, in-laws, friends, and co-workers who all mourn his loss.  Our only consolation comes from the fact that Justin is in heaven watching over all of us.
